Day One – Welcome to New England

Minneapolis/St. Paul to Portland, Maine
Your adventure begins as you board a nonstop Delta flight to beautiful Portland, Maine (alternative airport options available — just ask!). Upon arrival, your Gateway Tour Manager will greet you and escort you to your hotel. This evening, get to know your fellow travelers at a fun, get-acquainted dinner hosted by Pam Lundell.

Day Two – Trains, Trees, and Lobster, Please

Conway Scenic Railroad & Kancamagus Highway
We’re off to the White Mountains of New Hampshire for a scenic ride on the historic Conway Scenic Railroad — enjoy stunning views of the Mount Washington Valley. Then, it's on to the Kancamagus Scenic Byway, one of the top fall foliage drives in the country. Back in Maine, we’ll end the day with a classic Maine lobster dinner (food allergy-friendly options available).

Day Three – Coastal Charms and City Lights

Kennebunkport to Boston
Our journey continues down the coast with a stop in the quaint seaside town of Kennebunkport, perfect for a little exploring and shopping. We'll pause for photos at the picturesque Nubble Lighthouse before arriving in Boston, where history and modern city life blend beautifully. Spend the evening exploring Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall at your leisure.

Day Four – Where History Comes Alive

Boston, Lexington & Concord, Boston Harbor
We’ll start the day with a guided tour of historic Boston, featuring landmarks like the Freedom Trail, Old North Church, and more. Then it's off to Lexington and Concord, where you’ll walk in the footsteps of the patriots of 1775. This evening, relax and enjoy a dinner cruise on Boston Harbor.

Day Five – Pilgrims and Cape Cod

Plymouth, Plimoth Patuxet, Provincetown
Step back in time as we visit Plymouth Rock, the Mayflower II, and the living history museum of Plimoth Patuxet. Then we’ll drive along Cape Cod, passing cranberry bogs and charming villages like Sandwich and Barnstable on our way to Provincetown.

Day Six – A Day on Martha’s Vineyard

Ferry to Martha’s Vineyard
This morning, we take the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard for a guided tour of the island. Discover the famous Gingerbread Cottages, Chappaquiddick Island, and other highlights before returning to Boston in the evening.

Day Seven – Explore Boston at Your Own Pace

Free Day in Boston
Today is yours to enjoy however you like. Whether you’re shopping, visiting museums, strolling historic neighborhoods, or relaxing with a good cup of coffee, your Gateway Tour Manager will be available to help with ideas and suggestions.

Day Eight – Farewell, New England

Boston to Minneapolis/St. Paul
It’s time to head home, taking with you unforgettable memories and new friendships. Board your Delta flight back to Minnesota, arriving in the late afternoon.
